Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes. I offer both in-person sessions at my Bronx location and virtual sessions via Zoom. Please choose the option that best suits your needs when booking.
Q: What language are sessions available in?
Sessions are available in both English and Spanish.
Q: I’m not sure what service to book. Can you help me choose?
Absolutely. Email me at houseofobatala@gmail.com with a brief description of what you’re experiencing, and I’ll guide you to the right service.
Q: How do I access my Zoom session?
Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and session details. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it within 5–10 minutes.
Q: What if I’m running late?
If you are running late, please call or notify us as soon as possible. Sessions will still end at the originally scheduled time to honor the schedule of others.
Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All services are non-refundable. Due to the energetic and time-based nature of this work, all sales are final. Please book intentionally.
Q: Are sessions recorded?
Not automatically. If you would like to record your Zoom session, you may request permission at the start. I do not provide recordings.
Q: Are your services confidential?
Yes. All sessions are held in confidence and with spiritual and ethical integrity.
Q: Can I bring a friend or partner to my session?
Individual sessions are intended for the person receiving the session only. Additional guests are not permitted unless discussed and approved in advance under special circumstances.
Q: Do you work with clients outside of New York?
Yes. I work with clients worldwide through virtual sessions and pre-recorded offerings. Travel-based work is available for approved events and collaborations.
Reimbursement & Invoices
Q: Do you provide invoices for reimbursement purposes?
Yes. Upon request, I can provide a detailed invoice for coaching, mentoring, and wellness-related services. These invoices may be used for employer wellness or self-submission reimbursement where applicable.

Q: Are your services covered by insurance?
House of Obatalá does not bill insurance directly and cannot guarantee reimbursement. Coverage varies by provider and plan. Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility.
Policies & Terms
- No Refunds: All services are non-refundable. Please be certain before booking.
- Late Arrivals: If you are running late, please call. Sessions will not be extended beyond the scheduled end time.
- Habitual Lateness: Clients who arrive late three (3) or more times will be considered habitual late offenders and will be subject to a $20 late fee on future sessions. Continued lateness may result in refusal of future bookings.
- Right to Refuse Service: I reserve the right to decline or discontinue services that feel misaligned, unsafe, or disrespectful.
- Respectful Conduct Required: Disrespectful behavior, inappropriate requests, or violations of spiritual or personal boundaries will result in termination of the session and a ban from future services.
